Zone3 is the number one British triathlon wetsuit brand which has now become equally as popular all around the world. They provide me with wetsuits and other swim accessories, and having worked with the brand for a number of years, I am impressed with the continued innovation and development of their products.
Visit Zone3OTEC bikes is my local bike shop, and supports me with regular bike maintenance and any products I need. The team look after me and my bike, regularly advising new additions or tweaks which can help my performance. OTEC is also a Ceepo stockist.
Visit OTEC bikesFfwd Wheels supply me with premium quality carbonfibre aerodynamic wheels to train and race in (I'm particularly fond of my disc!). I have now worked with Ffwd Wheels for a number of years and genuinely feel that these wheels are some of the fastest out there.
Visit Ffwd WheelsI am extremely fortunate (and proud) to ride the Ceepo Shadow, a bike that is renowned for its speed and slick lines. As a brand that specialises in triathlon-specific geometry, Ceepo designs bikes that not only move quickly but are also comfortable over longer distances.
Visit CeepoSundried is a premium ethical activewear brand which provides me with kit to help me train with optimum comfort and performance, and stylish casual kit to wear when I'm not training. I am particuarly passionate about the environmental responsibility which underlines the brand and am delighted to represent such an honourable brand.
Visit SundriedEnergy Snacks make sports nutrition simple, by delivering a range of endurance sports nutrition and everyday snacks in a box directly to your front door. Energy Snacks provide me a monthly supply of all my race fuelling such as energy drinks, gels and hydration supplements.
Visit Energy SnacksXendurance provide me with supplements to help maximise performance and recovery, including their acclaimed Extreme Endurance lactic acid buffers and Immune Boost, two supplements which are an essential part of my daily routine.
Visit XenduranceFORM created the world's first swimming goggles with a smart display. Enabling me to see my metrics in real-time as I swim is a real game changer for performance.
Visit FORMI work with AS Sports Therapy, a local sports injury therapist who keeps me in great shape, moving optimally, and working through any niggles with a range of advanced techniques and approaches.
Visit AS Sports TherapyI'm a UK triathlete with big ambitions. This is my blog about being motivated by life, about challenging myself, about exploring mental and physical limitations, and about fulfilment through adventure. Be inspired.
I am a UK triathlete embarking on an exciting journey in the world of triathlon and I’m committed to seeing how far I can take it. In 2012 I couldn’t swim one length of front crawl, didn’t own a bike and had spent most of my life as a self-classified ‘non-sporty’ person.
I believe in grasping opportunities, pushing your limits, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and making the most of life. I want to do what it takes to look back on my life and be proud of the moments that shaped it.
Training for long distance triathlon is a constant mental and physical effort. It hurts, it’s hard work, and there are some days when I wake up and passionately dislike the fact that I have to train. Then I get out there, in the outdoors, feeling my body work, and I realise I am taking one step closer to realising my dreams and it makes it all worth it.
My dreams are not to win, to be a world champion, to revel in the success and fame of top level elite triathlon. My dream is to challenge myself and discover what it takes to be the best that I can be.
